First up, Brussels favorite monster [insert your choice of witty comment about public official here] has reappeared, and he does have a point…

Maybe the European Commission needs to work its staff a bit harder if they’re finding time to moonlight as taxi drivers.

Next up, FIFA President Joseph ‘Sepp’ Blatter announced his resignation yesterday, even though he:

  • was just reelected;
  • has denied any wrongdoing;
  • still maintains that he will have a hand in reforming FIFA.
